Parade of Doggos by Jaime M.
I spent a year in Lowell where I worked as an intern for Merrimack Rep. One Spring morning, I walked from the Artist Housing to the theater for a matinee. I crossed the street, when suddenly, as if by magic, I was in the midst of a literal parade of dogs. We’re talking fifty-plus doggos who came out of nowhere, as if their soul purpose was to say “Hi there!” They must have been on leashes, but I was so overwhelmed with joy I didn’t notice. Afterwards they immediately disappeared. There were no witnesses. No one will ever understand.
